Yes, another one. But about what? What should I be posting about?
Seems like this "games" section is just a front so we can spam the shet out of this with WoW posts. I mean, how many games have we talked about in this blog? Super Smash Bros Brawl? I've played like 2 hours worth of that game max LOL.
WoW is just such a big game its taking up too much room. When Kev and I are at "work" expect one of our browsers to be dedicated to either WoW Armory, Thottbot, WoWHead - the list could go on...
And while we WoW research at work, Vince WoWs all day at home - levelling like his life is going to end tomorrow - almost 68 now.
So until Blizzard's servers get f*cked and their back-up tapes burnt in a horrific accident - we will always play WoW...
Up yours Blizzard.

70 - and it doesn't end there
I was thinking, when I hit 70, I will be more free from this game as I have done it - I have reached the highest point in the game and everyone will acknoledge me for my achievement....
WRONG.
I've started to build up my profession skills and polish up my armour that I currently have on. That being said a lot of gold has been used to purchase: new blue item armour, materials to increase profession ranking, constant flight around the WoW, and repairing armour.
Professions? My character is a Blacksmith artist, and a hardout miner. My mining skill is now maxed and now currently trying to level my BS rank, which sits on 291/300 at the moment. Farming is not cool - although it does have its advantages:
- Farming in Un-Goro crater provides noob alliance levels ranging from 48-65. Each time I go around the area looking for thoriums, if ever I run accross an alli - they are dead within 2-4 hits. I give them no mercy and will keep ganking them as long as I can see them polluting my screen. DIE ALL ALLIANCE.
- not only do I get thoriums from this area, I also receive gold, truesilver and some gems and what not from mining - all of which are rare in the WoW.
- farming for 2 rounds (going around the place twice) gives me almost 60 thorium ores, which takes half an hour for each round. Not too bad I guess.
I maxed out my First Aid skill though - so now I can make the fattest bandages to even have an effect on healing fat ass Taurens.
PVP. I want to PVP. Waiting for my friends to also hit 70 (currently level 65 and 60) so we can start a new arena team. Names for this team have been concluded to the following:
1) Miranda Kerrians
2) The Three Tenors
3) Samurai Pizza Cats
4) vince rox (lamest name ever)
5) Biker Mice from Mars
.. the list kind of went on with cartoon shows that based their storylines on a group of 3 characters - we wanted to be TMNT but for obvious reasons chose not to. I'm leaning towards the Miranda Kerrians because she is hot.
Item purchases. Lately I have been buying blue armours / weaps / items for my character. I know it's kind of pointless but I'd rather die with somewhat good gear than get pwned with green gear in pvp - at least my character can perform better. However once my friends are 70 we are planning on instancing for a bit to get better purple ranked items - waiting is no fun, so I'm stuck on farming bloody thoriums for the time being.
p.s. I wish I can still scab honor points from the noob alliance I gank - no fair that you don't get honor depending on how low lvl the alli you gank are... an alli is an alli and should give me honor points regardless - unless the noob is like level 10 or something - then I can expect to get nothing.
WRONG.

2 more levels to go then I can finally start PVPing to collect epic gear. This constant buying of gear from the Auction House is draining my money - I need to start farming again.
My recent buy was a new 2 hand mace: The Oathkeeper.

To my surprise this weapon did not cost much - less than 30 gold to be exact, offers enough strength / stamina / intellect - I especially need the int. since my armour is based strongly on strength and stamina only.
I also got outbidded on blue item wrist plates that also provided heavily with strength and stamina points - fockers.
Trying to level up my first aid skill as a means to save more mana (reduce amounts of time I have to heal). I am finding my holy / prot spec much more efficient in terms of mana usage when I am equipped with my sword and shield, only problem is I kill at a slow rate, usually defeating mobs after 30+ seconds. I don't mind - I hardly waste any money on mana pots.
My friends are finally catching up, both of them reaching levels 48 (troll shaman) and 52 (tauren warrior). Funny when they duel as both can win over the other - although in the warrior's case, being 4 levels higher - getting beaten by the shaman is an epic fail.

Sunset
I'll give this to WoW, it really is a World. The environments are impressively diverse and detailed, coupled with how it changes dynamically with the time of day it's pretty cool. It really gives the feel of an epic world of such and such. Sometimes I gotta stop and appreciate the art direction and all those hard working people that obviously love their work. And I just wanted to post this vaguely cool screen cap I made:

Still noob tho. Gah.

Super Smash Bros Brawl
Finally got it thanks to my loving girlfriend. Played it for the first time the day I got it with my girl and sis.
First impressions? Felt and looked almost like SSBM really, only differences is the new maps, items, and obviously characters. I chose the Pokemon Trainer first up. Squirtle owns hardcore. Can't say the same about Charizard and Ivysaur. Charizard seems slow and fat, I liked how he can fly a certain height though but that was about it. Oh and he looks cool. Ivysaur on the other hand - completely useless I found, always changed out when he was chosen towards the end as he was just shithouse.
My second selection I was Zelda / Shiek. A character I was much more familiar with from the previous Smash Bros game. It got to a point where my sis and gf teamed up on me - and I still won lol. Some differences with Shiek (I don't use Zelda much or at all due to her slowness). Shiek is much quicker, and moves are more smooth. Thats all I can say for now as I have only played the game once, and WoW and my car are taking over my life at the moment.
I tried the one player mode: Subspace Emissary. I think Nintendo aims to use every available player for this adventure. As you start off with Mario and then Kirby from memory (I played the game almost 2 weeks ago) - It didn't really get my attention due to other already said distractions in my life.
Overall, I still need to play the game more in order to get a more pleasing review - think of this as the top layer of an onion's review of the game. I'm sure the deeper I get into SSBB the better it will get; I haven't even tried online play yet - something I am looking forward to.
And Sonic is still locked - I read that apparently you have to finish Subspace Emissary first to get him - nice one Nintendo you wankers!

Wanting to play Sonic already!

Upgrade on pally skills + new mount + new bought equips + mana pots = just 100 gold.
25% worth of exp. so far on this level. Nagrad quests seem to be endless and the mobs are getting a bit difficult - at this rate I'll be bankrup in no time - might have start to farm mining ores which will lead to more levelling down time!
I hate you WoW.

An Epic worth almost 500 Gold
Yes I did stay up at 2am last night waiting for my friend to help me with my Epic Mount quest, which consisted of the following:
1) a Quest where you gather materials from certain instances, as well as buying them from the Auction House. Costed me around 100 gold. A further 150 gold for payment to continue on with the epic mount quest.
2) a Quest to kill 15 undead creatures around the Eastern Plaguelands and destroying 3 wagon shaped machines in the same area. No costs involved.
3) a Solo-able instance to obtain some Purifying water found South East of the Eastern Plaguelands map. Did this by myself with ease as a level 65 Holy / Prot spec.
4) Another gathering materials quest which costed me alot more this time... almost 250 gold.
5) Another instance quest which luckily again, was only found to be towards the beginning of the instance location. This is where my friend helped me - could have solo'ed.
So that being spent I spent a total of 500 gold for this damn mount - but it glows! I also recieved a Blood Knight tabard to recognise my leetness.
Oh, and yes, now I am broke, very sleepy, and wanting to go home to sleep.

Yeahhh boy!!
